Surge XT

Surge XT is one of the best sound synthesizers for PCs, returning to Windows with a fresh look. The app is a new version created under JUCE, the open-source app brand, and any user can fully explore the various options and contribute if they want to feel like part of this project.

One of Surge XT's features to keep in mind is its updated interface. As with all sound synthesizers, there are dozens of buttons and features you need to use, depending on your needs. Here, there is a main panel where all the registers are that let you compose and change the sound spectrum.

In the center of the panel are the main controls for modulating any track, and on the right of the screen are dozens of filters and effects you can add as you like to boost your compositions.

Surge XT also lets you adjust any parameter just by dragging the sliders or clicking the buttons. What's more, you can also type certain numbers to accurately adjust the sounds, if you need to.
